So, if Scotland were to seek to emulate the 'Norway model', and join the European Economic Area (EEA), it would require the cooperation of the EU, and the UK. Now, we know the EU can be flexible, but what about the UK?
Thus far, they have displayed their default approach, to this family of nations of theirs. Which is to assume the guise of Victorian Dad, who's word is law.
VD, isn't particularly bright. Or flexible. Or imaginative. And where Brexit is concerned, he seems to be in a state of perpetual paralysis. Not that he would recognise this description of him. He doesn't recognise anything, other than his own alternative reality.
That being said, there's every chance VD will overcome his inertia, just long enough to "slap Scotland down". He likes doing that, it makes him feel important. He should enjoy it, while he can. Because Brexit, is going to leave him feeling a lot less important, than ever before.
