I read, with some interest, a piece by John Denham at labourlist.org/2016/11/john-denham-an-english-question-that-wont-go-away/, on the subject of an English Parliament.
Any right thinking person, acknowledges that the UK's current constitutional arrangements are, at best, incoherent. Alas, the solutions offered up, by the great and the good, are all too often, incredibly stupid. Idiotic ideas, like EVEL, seemingly crafted on the back of a fag paper, compound, rather than clear up the confusion.
The Establishment, needs to waken up to the fact, that the UK needs major surgery, not more sticking plasters. The longer they leave it, the more likely the UK will end. It may already, be too late. Of course, an English Parliament could eventually, lead to the break up of the UK, anyway. Either way, I for one, will not be complaining.
