If true, it is deeply depressing, that Hillary Clinton has laid the blame for her disastrous defeat, in the US presidential election, at the door of FBI director, James Comey. It is all too plausible, and sadly, perfectly predictable. Moreover, it is indicative of why she actually lost.
Doubts about Hillary Clinton, and the underlying distrust of her, long predate the investigation into her ill-advised use of a private email server. Also, pervasive, subtle sexism, can only go so far, in explaining just why she is as unpopular as she is.
If only the former Secretaty of State, had been able to be honest with herself. Had she only recognised her own shortcomings, faced up to them, and recognised the part they played in her failure to secure the Democratic nomination in 2008. If she had, Hillary Clinton might have been able to address many people's negative perception of her. Had she taken more responsibility, for her own predicament, things might have turned out altogether differently.
