Former Prime Minister, Sir John Major, once known as the "grey man" of British politics, has been having a go at Team Theresa's approach to Brexit, and more significantly, from our point of view, Scottish independence. Among other things, he said: Here is yet another English/British politician, after Sadiq Khan, and Jeremy Corbyn, who appears to know nothing about Scotland. If he did, he'd have known that most Scots are comfortable with Scotland being a small nation. We don't have the same craving for status the British Establishment, who are masters of an ordinary, medium sized country, deluded that it is still one of the big boys, a semi-superpower if you like. No, Mr Major, Scotland wouldn't be diminished, we have no pretensions of being any bigger than we are. It is right, however, to say that the rest of the UK would be diminished without us, and that terrifies the British/English elite.

I'm sure that the Unionists think that we lack ambition as we don't want to rule the world. But ambition comes in many forms, and the ambition to govern ourselves is big enough for me.
