Can someone please explain to me why it is a good thing for Australia, Croatia, India, Moldova, Pakistan, New Zealand, and just about every other country in the world to have their independence, but a bad thing for Scotland?
Why are so many Scots afraid of independence, I mean, what's the worst that could happen? If we fail, and it's a bloody disaster, then nothing will have changed. On the other hand, we might just succeed, and make things that little bit better.
I note from speaking to older relatives and conservative (with a small c) friends who believed we were 'better together' in 2014, while some continue to believe so, others could yet be persuaded otherwise, but all agree that independence is probably inevitable.
